Pile of Art

 I took this picture because it kind of upsets me, to me this picture is art that people just threw in a pile and did not appreciate enough.  A lot of this art is beautiful and deserves more admiration and maybe if someone sees this they can fix that.

I took this picture because I have always wondered what this "thing" on the side of the Woods building was.  Today, when I was walking past the building, this machine turned on and intrigued me enough to take the picture.

Tree Stump

I took this picture because I remember the tree that belonged to this stump before they cut it down.  The tree was in the way but was beautiful nonetheless and had beautiful shades of green.

Bridge

I took this picture because a lot of people do not even know of this bridge.  I did not know of this bridge until half way through my sophomore year.

Ditch

I took this picture because the texture of this ditch is very interesting in my opinion.  Not only is the ditch interesting but the landscape of this whole picture is beautiful.  From the vegetation on the sides and the mountains in the back, I think this picture is quite remarkable.

Trees

I took this picture because I like to take in the natural beauty of Eldorado's campus.  These trees are up by the baseball fields, I rarely go up by the baseball fields, so these trees are, in fact, new to me.  I also like how blue the sky looks in this picture.

Girl Painting

I took this picture because people drive past this every day, and is commonly ignored when it should not be.

This week I decided to take pictures of just artwork done by Eldorado students.  A lot of things around Eldorado's campus is done by students, and goes without recognition, except from the art department.  I think the people that made these should get special recognition, and that their art should be restored when necessary.

Art Yard

These pictures may seem like common places for some people, but for me they are unfamiliar.  The art yard is probably used all of the time by people in art classes, same with the band field and band kids.  The bench is in memory of a woman named Heather Ames, who was a beloved colleague, teacher, and friend to the community of Eldorado.  I would like to see the administration have this bench moved to a more noticeable location on the campus, instead of hiding behind the science building.
